Panch Bhaladami Bathroom, I think you've misunderstood me here. I've acknowledged the fact that our education system is battered due to ongoing student protests and things. In a country where most of the people are illiterate, wickedness of Gyane Maharaj is only understood by the students among some other groups and hence their natural reaction on the street. Many Nepalese people unfortunately take him for god and are very confused about what is happening. The students have rightly seen through Gyane's intentions and history will confirm that they are right to voice their concerns. I think the essence of being student is not just read the books and get a degree but to understand the society they live in and do whatever they can to bring positive impact on peoples' lives. I fully understand that general public have to face great difficulty due to their actions but if you look at broader picture they must be forgiven for what they do. It was interesting how you advocated Gyane and Panchayat, yet kept on saying you don't support them. To me it seems like you're in denial. You can see their limitations as well but are too confused to speak against them. To answer your question about giving Gyane a chance, I think he had several chances and still has a choice of listening to people. I strongly feel that our present king is unable to see what is good for the country and also what is good for himself. Yes, democracy is a self-cleansing system. Leaders are accountable to people and are put through test every few years at the election. As peoples' understanding of democracy improves, people will be able to select good leaders. How can that be bad?
