Well Jyotsna Accredated university means "accredated in the US" not in India. You cant practise dentistry like medicine in US, one has to go through the above procedure that I mentioned in my first posting. (S)he has to attend two or three years of undergraduate study again as International Student after passing NDB Part I and /or part II Say in Boston, Boston University asks for clearance of NDB part I with at least 85% where as Tufts asks for at least 90% in part I and 85% in part II. That means Tufts is tougher to get in. However there are universities that accept 80% and above and are highly competitive. Ist contact the Americal Dental Association in chicago for the approval and eligibilty. So for him to get into Dental School here, ask to take the National Dental Board Part I which can be taken year round. For Dental students its not as easy as getting residency for MBBS students.
