In so called film festival recently, they felicitated Devanand. I just want to know, why Devanand and not others? Can anybody tell me? If he was felicitated for doing sth. great for nepali movie industry, I dont know he has done any except shooting Hare Ram...... But many hindi movies are filmed in Nepal. I dont think he came to Nepal after that. Other artists like Amitabh or Sunil dutt came frequently. If he was felicitated for being a great artist, there are many in kollywood, bollywood and hollywood. What a sad joke, Amber Gurung is not felicitated, not even mentioned. I read once that this guy Devanand wanted to make a movie about royal massacre. DARBARIYAS requested him not to make it and he didn't make. Is he getting credit for that? Or if you guys know any valid reason for his feleicitation, please let me know.
