I am really in state of dilemma because I did not know whether to advocate for democracy or to maintain silent. One thing is crystal clear that there is no democracy in nepal. King does not want to recoincile with the political parties and whatever be the statement from parties and from Maoists, they can not agitate joining hands. That means to me Nepal will be in the same situation at least for 2 and half more years (as promised by king to reestablish democracy). The people of Nepal have to suffer a lot. Political Parties want Demopcracy but can democracy purify these all the problems? I doubt. There are a lot of people who want autocratic regime of king and still there are more people than the previous category who want democracy but for what? Did not 12 years democracy create these all the problems? Did not their incompetency lead/encourage king to grab power? Did not their corruption didtort the image of Nepal? Did not the atrocities committed by police add height to the struggles of maoits? What proofs political parties have that they can solve Maoists problems? Please anybody can answer? Do u still need democracy?
