Marriage is not really important, but some people like me have common choices among most others and decide to tie a knot. All other times it is peer pressure. My friend's 62 year old uncle in palpa thinks marriage is primarily for sex (as dating is not very common in that part of the world) which accidently breeds children as by products. Moreover, as my mom puts it, it is a security issue more than a relationship- You marry - you breed and your offsprings take care of you when you get old you need not whine about oiling your ragged car or your inability to bake a cake at the age of seventy.
