COL is also a major factor. and satisfaction... and being close to home ... if u r talking about the money.. here is a sample.. refute me... say u r making $65000.00/yr and single. insurance co pmt; taxes [Federal]; medicare; social security; state and you are left with roughly $39,000/yr i.e. $1500/bi weekly. meaning $3000/month apartment : 900/month car payment: 350/month car insurance:100/month lunch :200/month gas :150/month food :300/month [ if you stick to this & u save $1000/mth] [very hard to live by this bare minimum life style... right?? what about property taxes of the car etc.. etc.. ] this $1000 ===>> india IRs 45,000.00 meaning if you get a job in BANGLORE/CHENNAI for IRs 65,000/month to IRs 100,000/month.. u would be lot better off. and this is not an unreasonable figure... being closer 2 home. one's family etc. etc..
