coolnepali, I agree with you that the organizing committee learnt a lesson but the sad thing is they did so at the expense of the audience and Deepak Bajracharya. Worse thing is they are not even apologetic; at least I have not seen any official or unofficial message from the organizing committee. The program started at 2am for god's sake... ANA as an organization should dictate guidelines around some of these programs. Otherwise why should we all it ANA Convention? Participation may decrease drastically, otherwise. I'm still not over the fact that the Dallas organizing committee took the audience and the Deepak Bajracharya for granted. It was very nice for DB to come and sing at that late hour. If I would be in his place, I would not even bother to show up at the stage at that time. It shows his professionalism. Above all, I don't think the organizing committee should have any excuse as we have seen some very well organized programs in recent history of ANA conventions. They could have consulted with previous organizers if not use them as resources. They just took us all for granted which is extremely disrespectful...
