youstandup, i like your idea but unfortunately it is nothing more than a failed fantasy .... china has capital punishemnt for people convicted in cases for corruption .... but china is country rife with corruption .. so your idea, no matter how 'brilliant' it seems is not an answer to the prayers of the nepali people...we have to go to the root causes of corruption if we want to stop it and just giving harsh punishment to offenders is not going to help...cutting beuraucratic red tape ... e-governance initiatives... reforming complex lincensing systems...providing state funding to political parties for elections...cutting political intervention in bureaucracy...among others will contribute to cut off the very 'demand' for corruption
