Hi Lost Wel come to Nepal.......amazingly beautiful country. Though in media there are only bad news abt Nepal, in reality it is not like that and you should feel 100% secured to be here. If its ur first trip to Nepal, it would be just terrific, U dont have worry AT ALL. Political scenario and strikes can be memroable experinces over here. On the top of that Trekking, Rafting, cool mountains, green hills, honest people, narrow streets of Kathmandu, spicy food, unforgettable hospitalitiy and the endless list. You ar very much welcome again and of course one must be little cautious but for tourist its not AT ALL problem. the worst that can happen is u MIGHT HAVE TO PAY 50 dollars to MAOIST if u go for trekking. Some places to visit In Kathmandu (Durbar Square, Monkey temple, Nagarkot, Pashupati temple,) out of Kathmndu Pokhara, Annapurna (for trekking), Lumbini (birth place of Lord Buddha), Royal chitwan National park, Sarangkot (near Pokhara) and so on....
