DVD corrupted and then how is it playing other DVDs? if thats what you're asking, then you got me wrong. I am saying your DVD is corrupted, the DISC itself, not the DVD PLAYER or DVD drive. how many drives do you have for CDs? you are saying "...only played the one which was in the d: when i downloaded the softwares..." means you are trying to play DVD from a different drive. If u are then that drive could not be DVD ROM drive. You are not explaining the problem properly or i can't understand. If you're trying to play a DVD from a NON DVD -ROM drive, then its not gonna play anything. put more DVDs in your D: drive and see if it works. if not, then your DVD is corrupted, not the DVD drive. If none of the DVD plays in the computer, take it to a DVD player, a unit. then see if it plays, if it does, then you need to replace your DVD Drive.!
