Congratulations to the nominees, but I do find this news a bit odd. 1) The deadline for filing nominations for this year (for announcement in Oct and the award ceremony in Dec) has long passed. It was Feb 1. Why make these announcements (collected in 2004) now when the process of nomination for NEXT year has not even started? 2) The Prize Committee itself says that: "The nominators are strongly requested not to publish their proposals."
