I am planning to make a short trip to Nepal this summer. My H1B visa stamp is expired on my passport but I do have the documents that show the extension of my H1. I will have to apply for H1 visa stamp in Nepal. My question is, Does anyone have a similar experience? How long do you have to wait to get an appointment, and what is the procedure? And do we have to go for visa interview or do we just drop our passport off? And how long does it take after the interview to get the visa? My visit is going to be very short, so I would like to know exactly how to manage this to fit my time there. I would appreciate your help.
