I think one's decision to choose a college for MPH depends on the concentrations like Biostatistics, epidemiology or even health communication etc. I am attending some of the classes that will lead me to MPH at Tufts University (BTW thier MPH is not the greatest like Harvard or UNC) and the health communication seems to be the strongest as they have joint classes with Emerson College. I get to see all those local TV health reporters. One does not have to related to medical field to take MPH. But ultimately they do get affiliated to health field.
