Germany, Japan, Brazil and India -- the so-called G4 group --launched a joint effort for permament seats on the United Nations Security Council, and are on misson to win support. With much of "denial and not you" position adopted by powerful and not so powerful nations of the UN membership, the G4 nations are on their support seeking mission. Dilemma for Nepal, whom to support?, India the immediate neighbor, with relationships and animosity going back to ages. Besides, there are these two friendly countries in Japan and Germany who have been good friends of Nepal both in good and bad times (though good times seems like myth for now). Most probably Nepal's vote will go for India (and in my opinion it should), but I guess it is worth discussing on the merits and demerits of our vote to one of the three strong contenders, rulling out Brazil for now (as relatively our relationship is still in its early stage).
