Hi Shaq, In my case I never got any letter mentioning that they would forward the case to collection agency. I found the collection only after I accessed my credit history. I paid the balance to original company - not the collection agency. My mails were being forwarded. Even after I paid that amount, I received statements from the same company. I didn't ask them to show me the letter, however, I doubt there were any. What can I do?
