Oki? Now after a long break I am back to write about me and India? hehehe.. Hope you guys still read it and that I am not getting boring. Oki, so I was in the 10th std. Hmmm.. In 10th me and Anisha were in one room and Sharmila and Anita were in the other room. We still hung out together, but we had to be separated because 10th graders either had two or three people living in a room. We had to stay back during the vacations for the first time, and Anisha and me were more like rule breaking and not caring about what was happening, but Sharmila and Anita were more careful. There was a new warden who hated Anisha and me but loved them. We were not allowed to eat with hands, and once a senior was feeding me with her hand in the dining room. The new warden Rajni maam spotted us and started shouting. The thing that pissed me off was that instead of shouting at the both of us, she was only shouting at me!! "Rythm yeh tum kyaa kar rahi ho?" "Maam Riya mujhe khana khila rahi hai" I said with a sweet smile. "Who to mujhe bhi dikhai de rahaa hain.. magar yeh kyo tumhe khilaa rahi hai?" "Maam hummey mummy ki bahoot yaad atti hai, isliye jaisey meri mummy mujhe khana khilati hai, Riya mujhe khila rahi hai!!" "Mummy ki yaad ayi to ek doosre ko khana khilaoge tum log! Agar kal doggie ki yaad ayegi to bhau bhau karte firogey kya?" I looked at her with a surprise and said "Maam aisa nahi kehna chahiye, aap mummy aur doggie ko compare kartey ho?" She din know what to say so she just barged off. But we never did that again. She was a new warden, if the old one had seen us.. no one would have recognized my face the next day (or my bum;) ). We would not even wake up when the warden came to wake us in the morning. She was the funniest person ever. She would come barging in our room and say.. "Rythm, Anisha? utho!!" We would just stir and make noise to show our annoyance. She would tell us over and again and did not quit till we finally got out of bed. Much better than Sanju maam?s bal sudhar!;) Sometimes we never got up and made lousy excuses. She could not do a thing about it. Once Anisha was only sleeping in her undies (because it was sooo hot), and Rajni maam literally came in shrieked and ran out of the room and shouted. "Anisha.. tumhe soney ka tareeka bhi nahi hai!!" Sometimes I think about her and feel bad about what we did:(. Some people even locked her inside her room. She was so terrified that she started crying. No one would open up because we all were scared that she would think that she would think we did it. In the end, Sharmila and Anisha unlocked her and consoled her while she cried. They became her fav. students and we were probably the worse. That?s one teacher that hated me! As Anisha and Sharmila were her favorite, they had some liberty of breaking the rule and getting away with it. Hence, they made the sweeper their friend. She would supply them eggs and other food items that were not available in the school premises. So one day Anita came to me and said that they had some chicken. I was so excited, I hadn?t had chicken for months. I went to their room. They had a small container that had some chicken that looked like some one added too much spice to it. There was some chapatti too. Sharmila was eating the chapatti with some gravy, and was taking small bites of the chicken. I did not know what to expect so I was just eating the gravy and chapatti, Anita however was only eating the chicken. She was even chewing on the bones. While Anita was busy eating, Sharmila pulled out one piece from the container and it was the frigging head of the bird. And the bird was no chicken? IT WAS A CROW!! It had a beak, its eyes were closed it also had it esophagus hanging out of it. The only thing it did not have was a body! I almost pueked out. Anita who had the piece in her mouth looked at us as if she din know what to do. As if at once, we all left what in our hand, spit what was in our mouth and ran to the sink to wash our mouths. That was the yuckiest thing I have ever had in my life. Later we came back to the room to examine what bird it really was. There was no mistaking it, it was a crow. Sharmila and Anita thought that the sweeper was a witch and was trying to bewitch them by making them eat the crow. They joked about the crow?s spirit flying in their rooms at nights and haunting them. Whatever it was, it was scary. I wonder what the sweeper aunty (that?s what we called her) thought when she cooked the crow for us. The only reason they did this was because t hey wanted us to give them our clothes and shoes, which we did. But I can still visualize the head with the beak and esophagus hanging out. Ughhh!!
