Although I don't think it has anything to do with your profession as an actress, your quotes in the story seemed quite genuine. You mused over how politicians with little earnings "amass huge properties" but I wondered why you wondered because you have always witnessed and grown up amongst such amassing. But never mind that?rich people shouldn't be criticized for their thoughts just because they are rich; it was only when you described the king as "an epitome of selflessness" that I concluded somewhere in you is an absolute nutcase. But I agree with some of your complaints, especially the plight of so-called democratic people. Your suggested solution to the Maoist problem, however?that "it may be through dialogue or through the army but no other alternative"?roared into much laughter because I had always thought that dialogue and military were alternatives to each other (and because I imagine you saying it with much confidence although it is the most obvious thing one can say). I'm convinced that you have expressed your thoughts as a citizen?you didn't sound like a celebrity. It is a pity, though, that you can command our newspaper's front page with your answers via email, while we chew our own words in some dingy cell. Anyway, what I wanted to say was: Nevermind your grandfather's blood, Manisha?if you look at us close enough, I think you just might smell his sweat.
