One doubts that the sign "Peace through Superior Firepower" will appear at this rally. Speaking of signs, there are some problems with those shown above. First, "STOP No Weapons to Nepal" might be misconstrued as a call to RESUME weapons shipments to Nepal. Second, "full civilian control" sounds like a sajha poll before taking any military action. Third, how many U.S. taxpayers know who "King G" (ain't he that new rapper?) is? Fourth, Prachand and Gyanendra COMBINED are not even a blip on the screen compared with Pol Pot, not to mention the others named. On a different note, the ostensibly pro-democracy protestors must know that resumption of multiparty democracy means resumption of U.S. arms shipments to Nepal. And I hardly think they are calling for the continued suspension of democracy back home, which has led the U.S. to halt military aid. Catch 22...
