Today there is an immense group of Nepali Writers? Writing in English. Some have taken it as a profession and many just pick it up as their hobby. Our wish; is a simple wish, to combine both experienced and beginners, to create a workshop which will guide and improve their skill as an author. For a larger dream, we might someday even produce next Roy, Hemmingway or Cisneros. Who can say? For this we need participation, both from learned individuals and a developing literary artist. Many flourish here in Sajha like, (just to name a few) Sitara, Czar, Nepe, Ashley, mindgames and many more. Hope you will join us in this endeavor. Our Group is called OPUS - RACk and here is our group site. http://groups-beta.google.com/group/Opus-Rack Please start posting literary pieces and criticisms. Google Groups is just an experiment forum to see how much participation we get, if we gloom then we will be creating our own website, with huge space and infinite functionality. Here are some helpful links: http://groups.google.com/googlegroups/posting_faq.html (POSTING FAQ) http://groups-beta.google.com/support/bin/index.py?fulldump=1 (ACCOUNT INFO, PLEASE READ) Welcome to Opus Rack. This forum is created as a workshop for Nepali writers writing in English. We welcome both beginners and professionals with equal admiration. Our apothegm here is to guide each other in better handling of a pointing object that writes, generates humanity and grasp interest of the bored- excluding your own I self. Since this is a workshop there are some totally steamy guidelines that one has to follow. We hope anyone who is willing to participate will respect these rules with utmost sincerity, without any inflexibility. Rule number one. Please offer at least two criticisms/comments to others' work for each work you frame. If this rule is ruptured or not followed, then functioning of this forum in a proper manner is extremely difficult. Therefore, mods will be obligated to give very cacophonous punishment to such slippery eels. Rule number two. Please thank anyone who comments or criticizes your work. Some living being might think your work is undeserving of any real good compliments and the same soul might wish to punish it with bitter words; what do you do? You thank them too just for spending their pearl-precious time on your writing. Somehow, if you do feel undeserving of such critique then ignore it, but please do not forget to thank them. Rule number three. All the criticisms should be backed with proper proof. If you would like to defend your work, please do so with proof as well. Also, no words in dictionary should be used to degrade a person as a living soul. Rule number four. Remember, "The first draft of anything is shit." -- Ernest Hemingway, Nobel Laureate. So, do revise once or even twice before you post. thank you. Pertubed.
