Multiparty democracy did not only fail, it gave birth to Maoism in Nepal. I am on the same boat as is Saroj. KG has asked for 3 years, let?s give him that. If he fails to bring anything good, or if he does bring good but fails to restore democracy, then we can go about demonstrating in DC, Kathmandu, and where not. I would even join the rally. I also think democracy is the best political system. But at this time, there are no good democratic leaders in Nepal. Giving those corrupt politicians to continue would be to strengthen Maoists who we know are nothing but opportunist terrorists, would be to let more people get killed mercilessly, and most likely would be to let Indian military intervene and consequently would be to let Nepal be another Sikkim, or at least Bhutan. There hasn?t been a sudden influx of highly talented leaders in Nepal recently who can negotiate with Maoists and improve the situation of Nepal; so there?s Let?s be real; it will again be the same corrupt, never learning leaders that will continue to lead if somehow KG steps down. So, as much as I am against KG, I would not hesitate to let him lead for 3 years that he has asked for, and see what he?s got to bring to the table. If that doesn?t work, then we?ll see; So Poonte, Snurp, and Nepe, stop wasting your time participating in useless rallies and go ahead and plan for Gana-andolan after three years. I will join you guys then.
