Real or an attempt to save face?

Is this for real or a story made up by the army? As the newspapers reported, some politician's house got burglarized, allegedly, by government's forces. Could this press release be an attempt to blame that now on anonymous burglars or looters that they say are posing as army? Khoi ke ho ke ho? Biswas garney ki nagarney? It is sad that the credibility of Nepal's institutions is almost nil. Had there been a democracy, the checks and balances would have ensured transparency, but alas.... ========================= RNA appeals to public The Royal Nepalese Army (RNA) has appealed to the general public to allow security personnel to search their houses only after checking their identity cards. The army has also requested the public to immediately inform the RNA Valley Division Headquarters at 4220000 and army Directorate of Public Relations at 4246140 if army personnel coming to search their houses refuse to show their identity cards.
