You are right hushpuppy that the money would be of no good if the soul is dead. But have you thought that without that money, they might not even be alive today, let alone the soul? I know this is a bit extreme example but following out discussion here it serves right. Desperate measures call for desperate attempts. Those poor nepalese who sign up to work in Arab nations are desperate for food, and shelter. If they can find those or if someone provides them with an opportunity to find those, they are, or at least feel like they are, in a better situation. It is all relative.
