There is no doubt Nepali soldiers are paid less than of those Brits. But, Darling u are missing here a picture. Brits and Indian goverment pays Royalty to Nepal goverment separately. Why do u think they build roads and bridges in Nepal? Its a their way of giving back, having said that i am not trying to say that Gorkhas in Brit army are well paid and they should be treated equally.
