not to sound ignorant towards our brothers and sisters from the terai region because they are just as much nepalis as people from other region. but i consider it a slap in my face when i hear promotion of nepal but the content doesn't reflect nepal or nepaliness. just like the title of this movie? mini movie? piece? or bollywood dance piece at nepali cultural event or nepali restaurant with indian name....sure it?s an easier sell in the west because they are much more familiar with the indian culture and traditions than our own. but if we don't want to get pissed off next time someone tells us nepal is a part of india or nepal has basically the same culture and tradition as indians.....i think we need to create an identity of our own and nothing signifies more in an identity than "name"....so that?s why im kinda bitter about the title of this movie. having that said....i should also point out that i know nothing about this movie nor have i seen it....so these are my own biased opinions and you're all welcome to express yours.
