Oki all... there is one more poem that I wrote.. hope u guys like it....:s Uncertainly, hesitatingly, a step taken towards eternity, Eyes full of tears, heart full of fear, will he be trustworthy? Not a question asked, nor an answer expected, Fulfilling the duty the lord had designated. No ambition, no dream, all shattered long ago, The eyes so full of emtiness and sorrow. Thorns and hardships on every step of her path, Not a pair of concerned eyes, for her welfare would ask! HE had always been the master of her destiny, Before a father and brother, now a husband-to-be. No time her life had belonged to her completly, Always like a puppet, she obeyed dutifully. Bearing the thirst to satisfy her father, Instead of toys, holding her infant brother. Setting her mother as an ideal to follow, Though the days were tiring and the nights were hollow. Dreams were never meant for her sad pair of eyes, Always had been taken as a statute of sacrifice. She would only have a proper identity, If HIS name she took in the society. The walls around choking, every open sore hurting, No heed ever paid, on she kept going. Accepting the cane like a touch of a flower, Forgiving, forgetting, loving everyone forever. A mother, a daughter, a wife or a sister, The names always changing, but the roles change never. So on goes her life and on goes her journey, Only one hope left: May the fate of her daughter be written differently!!
