hey bro i went to nepal via london last fall...i posses a valid visa..like your travel document...in Heathrow they gave me a transit visa valid for 24 hours only..well that was enough for me to go around london....london is not a good place don't have to worry about transit visa...if they find u eligible to return back to u.s in future....have fun journey
