If you are thinking of putting a banner on websites and hoping people will donate, you can forget about it because people will conveniently ignore it. In my opinion the best way to go about doing it would be the following: 1. Get hold of a Non Profit Org that is willing to support your cause. HelpNepal.Org is an option. 2. Get hold of a team of volunteer in each city, who are willing to do the legwork. As a start, they can pay visits to Nepali Parties like Dashai Party or New Years Party, and collect the donations individually. 3. Put banners on websites as well for the few who will donate. No. 2 above is not going to be liked by a lot of people because it is pretty aggressive fund raising, but if you're committed to your cause, you have to do this.
