Did you see the Suns last year...They had basically the same guys they have now with he exception of Nash...and they were downright awful...won 29 games....with that white basterd in there they are on course to win 64-65 games....that is what an MVP does...a true MVP is capable of turning perennial losers into champions...and stats only tell part of the story in his case...he does not need to average 30 points a game to have a profound effect on the game....therein lies the beauty of his game...one predicated on selflessness...in a league full of shoot-happy point guards it is great to see a throwback--a player who is more happy getting 10-15 assists rather than scoring 30 points a game by hoisting 40 shots (i.e. iverson, marbury)...and the thing that is so unique about his playing style is that his teammates see him play so unselfishly and pass and that rubs on on them, so it is no coincidence the team is leading the league in both points per game and assists... BTW, KG deserved MVP last year even though Indianahad best record as you say...due to the fact that Minnesota was still one of the best teams...but a player whose team is at the bottom of the playoff race does not deserve to get MVP....thats why KG will not win it this year even tho his numbers are comparable to last year...and thats why iverson will not win this year either.. Also, the Golden State Warriors are doing damn good since they added Baron...watch out for these guys next year..
