We were camping in lake Saganaga, an hour drive up north from Grand Marais and then 5 hours of hike from there. Grand Marais is about 260 miles north from the cities and about 30 miles SW from the Canadian border. Though we took our skis with us, we ended up snowshoeing most of the way since the snow was too deep (3-4ft) and no one had broken the trails for us. We were there for 3 nights. Will post more pics as I get time to reduce the resolution on those pics to fit it in the sajha land. PG, here is the summer in mpls, taken in the state fair this past year.
