DC for sure needs redesign to suit the 21st Century. Compared to capital cities of other nations Washington DC could do a lot more. What a unplanned city of a planned country! Last time my wife was driving in the city and a left turn on the constitution avenue to 18th St and she passed a red light; could have got her license revoked! I wouldn't blame her(this time only).
