Dear Friends, It's been a great cyber journey so far in providing a cyber space for Nepalis all over the world to come together to share their thoughts and information on various topics of interest to the scattered Nepali communities. Over the years, I have pushed the 'sajha' concept towards everyone so that everyone felt it belonged to them in a sense that they would want to take care of it and treat it with respect as their own sajha property. But, as diverse as the visitors who come to the site, there has been a diversity of the understanding of that concept. Like in the real world there will always be few individuals who will want to push things to the extreme and indulge in activities not always towards the interest of this freely available esource. Because of the occurence of such isolated cases, yet on a continual basis, I have had to adapt the site to push towards the sajha concept as long as the user takes care of the site and treats it with respect as their own sajha property. As normal people we are bound to have irreconcilable differences and it's only natural to have such differences as the diversity of thoughts grow in a cyber community like sajha. In a sajha environment, we have to learn to grow with these differences, and discuss with intelligent points of views rather than degenerating the general health of the site with defamatory, degrading, despiteful, disparaging, malicious and slanderous remarks. The same thing goes with politics. We are all bound to have different visions of political utopia, and we are all free to discuss things in a responsible and respectful way without indulging in negative retributions. I have always stressed the fact that sajha is not politically inclined and it does not support anyone who attempts to use it as a playground for their political propagandas. I want to keep sajha as liberal as possible so that Nepalis in Nepal and all over the world have a cyber space that they can feel at home in. As part of the sajha community, you need to be well informed of the whole picture. After all is said and done, I am the one responsible for what's in the site. I am not going to put my personal freedom on the line to save a so called online democracy of anonymous users who have nothing to lose besides their ability to post in one site. Hence I urge you all to help keep sajha a sajha community that continues to bring us all together. Best wishes
