The eyes wonder in the darkness that prevails, Not a beam of light it detects, It searches forever for a soothing sight, But no where can it find the healing light. Memories and darkness is all thats left, Who can one blame though for this theft? The bliss and happiness all gone away, Only on misery and agony the heart can lay. A breeze blows softly bringing memories to mind, Of laughter and smiles that is now left behind, A dagger on the heart feels hard and heavy, Tears flow from the eyes and the heart bleeds softly.
