Sajha Post Reporter
After a meeting of Gyanendra with the reporters at his garden
Wow.
It was a nice show of defiance by Gyanendra. Did you notice he used the word 'chichyairahekachhan' (barking) to metaphorize the protest of the friendly neighboring states?
First of all, he planted a bunch of Pushkar-Lal-Shrestha like 'journalists' to lob soft questions like 'sirkar, how are you going to cop with the obstructionist bahudaliya leaders'? It was a completely one way traffic, a set of harangues by a cornered Gyanendra to his critics at home, his critics at home arrest, and abroad? But it was also a sign of admission that now that he heads a council of muzzled ministers, or the yes-men and the dumb men, all the talks has to be done by him.
He also borrowed a few words from President George Bush. You are either a shanti-badi or atanka-badi reminds you are either with the terrorists or with the US. And he talked about democracy in such a neauseating length that this reporter heard a rumor that Sharad Chandra Shah threw up at the next room.
Anyway, in his threatrics, Gyanendra looked like a cornered cat, scratching the pillar with his paw, and ready to attack all the world that is sorrounding him. The brilliant performance, in deed!
