How can we establish True Democracy in Nepal? Answer

I agree with Nitu and highvoltage's points of view. Corruption and politics (bad politics) is what is hurting our country's democracy and development. I think Hinduism in Nepal is the identity, pride of our country rather than a tool to sideline other equally respected religions. It is a historic entity of Nepal . When we say, we are proud of Mt. Everest and himalayas which is inhabitated by sherpas, doesn't mean that the people at tarai region, who haven't ever seen it, should object it. Rather they should share this pride. It would have been objectionable if the constitution had put "Nepal is only Hindu's nation" rather than "Nepal is only Hindu nation". As for international policy, though Nepal's economy is very much dependent upon neighboring country's policies, we should utilize our proximity to both big nations rather than relying singly on one country for everything (thats what went wrong). Just a thought!
