Corruption in Hospitals/Private Clinics of Nepal by Doctors: First way of corruption: Technical Doctors purposely break down medical equipment like - Radiology or X-ray machine, dental machine or other medical operating machines. He knows how to operate and what to break. Medical equipment only can fix if they replace parts from overseas like Britain, America or Japan. Doctors know what to fix because they know what they broke down. Actually, nothings really break down in equipment or medical machines. They may disconnect some the electric wires of equipments. Doctors know how to fix. But they go to overseas countries like Europe and America to buy parts and equipments on the cost and payroll of Nepalese hospitals. When they return home they earn lots of money by hospital pays, travel allowances and illegal commissions. Second way of corruption: Surgery If you go to private hospital, Doctors tells you much dangerous life threatening health problem on you. So you need to do surgery like stone, cancer, kidney, heart and other. Actually, You may even don?t have these kind of disease on you. If you have, you cure by control foods and medicines. At least, you may not need to do surgery. But doctors tell you that surgery is must for you. So risk your life and you loose your money, too. Third way of corruption: Selling medicine If you go to HMG hospital, doctors tells you come to his/her private clinics. If you go to his private clinic, doctors tell you to verities of medicines and vitamins where you physiologically force to buy and consume. Doctors are not shame to do on you. Doctors don?t care your economically problems.
