Maoists have not been able to get rid of top leaders of politicals parties (Maoist have gotten rid of low level political leaders in villages and towns) in the last nine years since these top political leaders live in major cities and Maoist have limited striking capabilities in major citites. I guess, if Gyanae's army can get that job done then why should the Maoist spend its valuable resources in terms of men and equipment. Let Gyanae's army do that job and pick up some fight with political parties and its leaders. In the long run it will help the Maoist indirectly.
