GP May be you understand better if you can read this: Do you ever read or watch news from US Congress or US Senate or House of Commons of Canada or House of Common of Bratain ? In the US Congress have you not heard of Democrat Congressmen voting against the legislation brought by Democrat crongressmen because the issue goes aginst their conscience (plz dont ask me what the heck conscience means) or in another case a Republican Cogressmen voting against a legislation brought by Republican Congressmen for the very same reason. Have you not heard Republican Congressmen voting for legislation brought by Democrat Congressmen because the issue is in line with their conscience and vis a versa. Here is another example. Next week Liberal Party of Canada(which is currently in govt.) is introducing "same sex marriage legislation" , therefore formally re-defining marriage to fully include same sex marriage into Canadian Law wants MPs to vote for the legislation. There are 4 different parties and 2 independent MPs(member of Parliament). Official position of Liberal Party(as it is brought by it's own govt.) is to vote and pass the legislation. On TV interviews many members of Liberl Party MPs have told the press that they will vote against the same sax legislation (which is against the official positon of their party). Main oppostion Conservative Party of Canada DOES NOT want re-defination of marriage therefore wants its MPs to vote against the legislation. On TV interviews some of it's members have openly said that they will vote for the legislation (which is against the official position of their party) Same thing is happening inside Block Quebecos and NDP as well. However this legislation is expected pass even if some MPs of Liberal Party and almost all Conservative Party MPs will vote against the legislation. The combined number of MPs from all four parties saying YES for the legistation will outnumber the combined number of MPs (from those four parties) saying NO. From the examples from above I believe one has to able to say it's not right "BASED ON ISSUE". On the Issue of closing schools in Nepal I guess Maosits are ass***le. If politicians were to follow and support their party on various issues "that blindly" (as you have presumed oin your writings above ), may be the western democracies would have had been a mess far worse than Nepal.
