I don't see any differences. The Islamic militants are vowing to destroy American empire by killing innocent Americans where as Nepali militants, Maoist, are vowing to implement Maoism in Nepal by terrifying Nepalese and killing those who oppose them. Though there are fundamental differences between Maoist's and Iraqi's ideology, but the way they are terrorizing innocent people in their respective countries are similar. So, I would say there is nothing difference between Nepalese Maoist and Iraqi militants.
