Well my son is now six months and we did a small pasni... fed him bhaat! Gave him kalli baala, new clothes and dakchina. You may want to take to some temple if you want. So was the case with my elder son. This time, the elder one thought it was his brother's "Happi totdi" .i.e happy birthday! Buy some flower to make a mala or two, too. The experience is really blessing... the tiny 7 1/2 lbs you brought home has now teeths and makes sounds, rolls over back and forth and knows how to get attention in no time.
