Sitara, forgive me for being stupid, but when you said "they usually walk the streets at night", did you mean they are prostitutes or they just walk at night, taking refuge of darkness, thereby dodging the society's wrath? I guess these days police harass anyone who walks at night in the name of keeping us safe from Mao-badi. I am sure they get more rowdy when they see a woman walking around. And then even more so when they find the woman is actually a man.
