If Nepal exists still, (totally serious here) she will reap great benefits in the name of labor, trade, direct access of goods and services, better communication, better agricultural technology, and higher standards of education. The positive externalities from this would be great adn Nepal would not go backwards even if she wanted to! This is sorta "utopian" view I hold!
