Used to listen to rock all the time. All time favorites: Pink Floyd, Queen, Deep purple, Dire Straits.... list is long! Until the kids I teach came in singing: "Get your eagle on...! Get your Freak on....!", "bling bling this, bling bling that!" Had to expand my own vocab to know what those kids were listening to... so started listening to Rap!!!!!!! A lot of wit, talent, music mixes, there.... but songs not singable for kindergartners! I told them to stick to Barney Songs or........!!! hehehe! Two different genres of music incomparable. Maybe one can compare Usher with Ludacris... (lord knows how to spell those exotic names!) and Deep Purple with White Snake?!
