Can anyone tell me..how long has HIP HOP been into the mainstream music industry, but I bet it hasn't been more than 20 years,on the filpside ROCK has been there for more than 40 years , so its intuitive that Rock gains more popularity than RAP. Bands like led Zeplin and Iron Maiden has been into the rock mainframe for more 20 years and still rock. But, nevertheless one should't diss a genre of music just coz he hates it.... peace..
