i love the scenes in the road home that have zhang ziyi running through the countryside, and especially with her bright clothes! the whole story is just so sweet and innocent and i love when he goes to say goodbye to her the first time and gives her the clip for her hair. that's really the only interaction the two characters have in the entire movie that lasts more than a few seconds. the music is also so crucial to how beautiful the overall effect of the movie is. i still have yet to see red sorghum and i was somewhat disappointed with ju dou. gong li is fantastic, as is zhang ziyi. hmmmm....zhang ziyi as a geisha?! ma ta herna janchhu ni!
