This is a bigger topic than most realize. It doesn't hurt to be nice and kind to anyone, much less those in the TPS bracket. The amount of sneering and jeering that goes on in sajha is beyond comprehension. Then there are those fear mongers. Harmless banter is one thing, but there's isn't shortage of those who think they are a cut above the others, and constantly post garbage in sajha to spread fear.
Heck, there are people who jeered and continue to jeer here in Sajha at our own Nepali brothers from Bhutan. Remember - we are all economic migrants. Slaves of opportunity, me included. One deals with the deck of cards that you are are given. Some stayed in another location/country for a bit longer. Those in the TPS bracket, or outside, are just the same. These brothers and sisters have been in stress like never before. Much respect to them for navigating these tough times. If you were abroad for more than 10 years, realize this - for those who are in Nepal, you are already a 'bideshi'. They don't consider you that integral part of of community anymore. Of course they won't say it in your face! Can't blame them! They will take your $$ but don't forget you are in a different camp now!
In short, be nice to one and all. Know that if Nepal had opportunities galore for all, no one would be abroad - we would all try and make a living in our own country.
Cheers!
