We all here understand no language can be 100% translated to another. We are not talking about that here. We are discussing here how the original idea/humor/satires was not conveyed into english cartoons with poor efforts despite the fact that those ideas/humors/satires could be easily preserved given a proper translation with due diligence. Failing to filfulling that due diligence has done complete injustice to the Rajesh KCji's original cartoons. If you want to Gundruk from nepali to English, trust me you would write "Gundruk" as it is, without wasting your time. All it takes is removing your inferiority complex of feeling shy to call your swadistha gundruk a "GUNDRUK" in front of engish speaking people. Tell them, when asked, that this is gundruk. If needed then explain how nepalese prepare GUNDRUK. If we are that bold, soon we will find this word in Webster Dictionary.
