Got NRN citizenship within 5-7 days. It was smooth.
However, guess what I still need to pay for visa fee to stay in Nepal.
I reluctantly renounced my original passport for NRN citizenship :(

I reluctantly renounced my original passport for NRN citizenship :(
Process
1- get form and apply for renouncing your original Nepali passport(naagrita parityag) at CDO office.
After all process they will give a letter to give to police station to get police report.
2- get police report from your area (in my case ward no 1)
And submit at the place where you submit a form for renouncing original Nepali nagrita. If all good they will give a confirmation letter of renounced original Nepali nagrita.
3. Get sifaris(confirmation that you live in your oda)from your oda(have to pay 10k rs or if you are lucky oda won’t ask for it)
You need someone for sanakhat.
Once all good they will stamp the form you submitted at oda.
- step 2 and 3 can be done in same day to save time.
4. Submit confirmation letter From 2,3 and get useless(as of now) NRM citizenship.
