I took my kids to swimming yesterday. An older gentleman in his late 60s and an younger parent were chatting about migrant issues in Nyc. I happened to sit next to them since there was a seat available and to that they looked at me and we had an ajeard eye contact, and stopped talking about it. I have a feeling we are up for things like this a lot for another decade now. The micro aggressions and sublte micro discriminations do add up for the victims.
