Hello Guys,

I know I may be a laughing stock for posting this but I needed to get this out of my chest. So I have been doing IT for last 8 years. Although I have never been stable, I would say my forte is Linux administration (I had been doing Linux/Network Admin). Recently I switched to Devops as a contractor. I considered this my first real job (where most of the people get fired:)) and I have been really struggling. I need to do a lot of coding stuff. My pipeline library is written in groovy and I am not so good with it. It's gotten so bad that my manager asked me if I wanted to quit. He's retiring this week. He was like if it's something you do not enjoy or you cannot, so it be you can find something that you enjoy. However, I do not want to give up easy (please keep in mind it's been 9 months and I am still struggling). I have not taken any support and it feels like support cannot get my requirements easy). Do you think it's a good idea to meet with support on daily basis to discuss overall projects so they will be comfortable with what I do? I really need some good advice. Sometimes I feel like I should have never started IT. Now matter how hard I try I do not seem to comprehend. Not sure if I have ADHD.
