As far as Ravi's Nepalese passport is concerned, I don't think anything will happen. There was an error in the Nepali constitution about how and where to surrender. Ultimately, it is the court that interprets the law. Ravi's case was not forwarded to the correct department after he notified Nepali immigration. Nepalese citizenship is at the root of the passport issue. Hence, if the origin of the issue is at fault and he has been penalized, I doubt anyone has a strong case against Ravi! We just need a smart lawyer to fight the case. The investigation will continue for a long time, but at the end, it will be dismissed.
I can see other side who said Ravi broke the law and he definitely knew he screwed up. You also have to remember that major political parties have heavily influenced the judicial system and theses judges can interpret as they wish. I think now Prachanda want home ministry from his side and be May give President to UML.In the twist of events, now Congress wants president or home ministry so they could make a united alliances since they voted on pranchada’s side.
